L'installation des ampoules se compose d’un moniteur vidéo (image et son) et d’un champ d’ampoules allumées.
Sur le moniteur sont traités l’image et le son de la déflagration des ampoules éparpillées autour de lui. Ce traitement crée un univers tendu et instable. Ainsi l’appréhension du point d’équilibre entre la stabilité du champ d’ampoules et la subite déflagration de l’ensemble est accentuée.
C’est le rapport qu’entretient le moniteur avec son environnement qui est à la base du sens de l’installation.

The light bulb installation consists of a video monitor (image and sound) and of a field of lit light bulbs. On the monitor, the images and sounds of the explosion of the bulbs, which are scattered around it, are shown. This creates a tense and unstable universe. Thus the apprehension of the point of balance between the stability of the field of bulbs and the sudden explosion of the unit is accentuated. The relationship between the monitor and its environment is the basis of themeaning of this installation.
